Overview

A tightly spaced wire design allows excellent airflow and visibility while being too small for fingers or tools to penetrate. With its anti-climb construction and resistance to cutting, 358 mesh is widely recognised as the benchmark for high-security fencing and infrastructure protection.

Each panel features KiwiRail standard double vertical wires, two parallel wires running together at every upright interval, which significantly increase the mesh’s rigidity and resistance to impact or bending. This unique configuration helps the fence maintain its shape under pressure and makes it far more difficult to deform or cut through compared to standard single-wire designs.

Every panel is hot-dip galvanised after welding, ensuring full corrosion protection and a long service life even in harsh outdoor conditions.

We stock standard 358 mesh sheets at 2.4m and 3.6m long, suitable for fabricating custom enclosures, cages, or infill panels. Complete kits are also available, including posts, rails, brackets, and fixings for easy on-site assembly.
